Discord
Send every new form submission to a Discord channel with a channel webhook.
The Discord integration is available on Pro. Each submission arrives in the channel as an embed with every answer and a link to it in Nisuform.
Connect Discord
Create a webhook
In Discord, open the settings of the channel you want submissions in. Go to Integrations, then Webhooks, and choose New Webhook. You need the Manage Webhooks permission on the server.
Copy its URL
Choose Copy Webhook URL. It starts with https://discord.com/api/webhooks/.
Paste it into Nisuform
Open the form's Integrations tab, choose Discord and paste the URL. Then choose Send test and check the channel.
The message
- The title New submission: with the form name, linked to the submission in your inbox.
- One field per answer, with its label. Empty answers show as "(empty)".
- The time it was received, and a footer that says "Test submission" for tests.
Messages are posted as nisuform and never mention @everyone, @here, roles or users, even if an answer contains them. Very long answers are shortened, and forms with more than 25 fields show the first ones and a note with how many more are in Nisuform.
Troubleshooting
| Error | Fix |
|---|---|
| Discord answered 404 | The webhook or the channel was deleted. Create a new webhook and paste its URL. |
| Discord answered 401 or 403 | The webhook's token changed. Copy the URL again from the channel settings. |
| Discord answered 429 | Discord is rate limiting the webhook. Nisuform retries on its own. |
