Web3Forms Alternative: Nisuform vs Web3Forms

Both start the same way: an HTML form posts to an endpoint and you get an email for each submission. Web3Forms identifies your form with an access key in a hidden input. Nisuform puts a form key in the endpoint URL.

• A bigger free plan. 250 submissions a month with unlimited forms, against Nisuform's 100 submissions and 3 forms.
• Redirects for free. Send visitors to your own thank-you page on the free plan. On Nisuform, redirects are Pro.
• More submissions on Pro. 10,000 a month, against Nisuform Pro's 5,000. Web3Forms also has a larger Agency and Team plan, and a discounted plan for students, non-profits and early-stage startups, by application.
• Widely used. Web3Forms has run since 2020, and many open source templates include it.

Where Nisuform is ahead#

• Submissions are kept. Web3Forms' free plan shows 30 days of history. Nisuform keeps every submission on every plan until you delete it, with search and CSV export.
• Spam protection on every plan. Turnstile, reCAPTCHA and allowed domains are free on Nisuform, on top of a honeypot, a fill-time check, rate limits and duplicate detection. Web3Forms puts Turnstile, reCAPTCHA and domain restriction on paid plans.
• Spam doesn't use up your plan. Filtered submissions go to a spam folder and never count toward your monthly limit.
• A lower yearly price. Pro is $84 a year, against $149.
• Prompts for AI coding tools. Each form's Setup tab has a prompt with your endpoint and field names for Cursor, Claude Code or Lovable.

Web3Forms free plan limits#

Web3Forms is free for 250 submissions a month, with unlimited forms and redirects to your own thank-you page. The free plan leaves out:

• Long-term history. The dashboard shows the last 30 days.
• Spam controls. Turnstile, reCAPTCHA and domain restriction are paid features.
• File uploads, webhooks and auto-replies.
• Slack, Discord, Telegram and Google Sheets.

Paid plans start with Pro, at $149 a year for 10,000 submissions a month.

Nisuform Free has fewer submissions, 100 a month across 3 forms. In return, every submission is kept with search and CSV export, Turnstile and allowed domains are included, and spam never counts toward the limit.

Web3Forms pricing at each volume#

Nisuform Pro is also available monthly, at $10 a month.

Switching from Web3Forms#

1. Create a form#

   Sign in at app.nisuform.com, create a form and copy its endpoint from the Setup tab.

2. Change the action URL#

   <form action="https://api.nisuform.com/s/YOUR_FORM_KEY" method="POST">

   Remove the access_key input. Nisuform keeps every field it doesn't recognize, so the key would otherwise be saved with each submission.

3. Update the other fields#

   • Rename redirect to _redirect. Redirects are a Pro feature.
   • Remove subject and from_name, or they are saved as fields. Set the subject in the form's Settings, Email on any plan, and the sender name on Pro.
   • Replace the botcheck checkbox with the _gotcha honeypot:

4. Send a test submission#

   Submit the form from your live site and check that it reaches your inbox and your email.

If you submit with fetch, change the URL, remove access_key from the body and send Accept: application/json. Check result.ok where your code checked result.success. See JavaScript and fetch.
