Point your Webflow form at your own endpoint

Keep your Webflow form block and set its Action to a Nisuform endpoint, or embed a styled form. Every submission is saved, emailed to you and can go to Slack, Sheets or a webhook.

Free for 100 submissions a month, no credit card. Updated

Webflow's own form handling is fine for a simple site. People look elsewhere when they hit the Starter plan's limit of 50 submissions, which never resets, or when they want files, Slack alerts or a webhook without paying for a bigger site plan. Paid site plans have unlimited submissions, and file upload fields need one of the higher ones.

There are two ways to send a Webflow form to Nisuform. You can keep the form block you designed and change where it posts, or paste a styled form into a Code Embed.

Keep your form block

  1. Copy your endpoint

Create a form in Nisuform and copy the endpoint from its Setup tab.

  2. Set the Action and Method

In the Designer, select the Form Block and open its settings. Paste the endpoint into Action and set Method to POST.

  3. Name every field

Select each input and check its Name in the settings panel. The name is the label the answer is saved under, and a field without one isn't sent at all.

  4. Publish and test

Publish the site, open the live page and send a test. Visitors now see the Nisuform thank-you page, with a link back to your site, instead of Webflow's success message.

Add a honeypot

Webflow has no hidden field element, so make one yourself. Add a text input to the form, set its Name to _gotcha, and give it a class with display: none. In the input's custom attributes, add tabindex set to -1 and autocomplete set to off. People never see the field, and bots that fill it in are dropped.

Use your own thank-you page

On Pro, set a redirect URL in the form's Nisuform settings, like a /thank-you page you build in Webflow. Visitors go there after they submit. See thank-you page and redirects.

Or embed a styled form

The embed brings its own styles and spam protection, shows the success message without leaving the page, and still posts if JavaScript is off. It's also the way to take file uploads.

  1. On the form's Setup tab, choose Site builder, then Webflow.
  2. Add your fields and adjust the design in the form builder, then save.
  3. Choose Copy the embed code.
  4. In the Designer, drag a Code Embed element to where the form goes, paste the code, save and publish.

The embed always reflects the last saved version of the form, so save in the builder before you copy.

Where submissions go

Every submission lands in your Nisuform inbox, where you can search it, star it and export it to CSV, and you get an email within seconds. The email's reply-to is the visitor's address, so you can answer from your mail app.

On Pro, each submission can also go to Slack, Discord, Telegram or Google Sheets, or to any URL as a signed webhook. Zapier, Make and n8n can pick it up from there.

Once the site is live, add your webflow.io address and your custom domain to the form's allowed websites so other sites can't post to your endpoint.

What you get with Nisuform

Free covers 100 submissions a month across 3 forms. Pro is $10 a month for 5,000 submissions and adds the features marked Pro.

  • Spam filtering on every plan

A honeypot, a fill-time check, rate limits and duplicate checks run on every submission, with optional Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA. Spam never counts toward your limit.

  • An email for every submission

You get an email within seconds of each submission. Reply-to is set to the visitor, so you can answer from your mail app.

  • Every submission kept

Search, star and export to CSV. Submissions stay until you delete them, so a missed email never loses a message.

  • File uploadsPro

Up to 5 images or PDFs per submission, stored privately and shared through links that expire.

  • Slack, Discord, Sheets and webhooksPro

Send each submission to Slack, Discord, Telegram or Google Sheets, or anywhere else with signed webhooks, Zapier or Make.

  • Auto-repliesPro

Send each visitor a confirmation in your own words, from your own sender name.

Frequently asked questions

How many form submissions does Webflow allow?

Webflow's free Starter plan collects 50 form submissions in total, and the count never resets. Paid site plans have had unlimited form submissions since Webflow's December 2024 pricing update. Submissions sent to a custom action go to that endpoint instead of Webflow, so they don't count toward the Starter limit.

What happens to Webflow's success message with a custom action?

Webflow doesn't show it. The browser posts the form to the endpoint, and visitors see the Nisuform thank-you page. On Pro, you can send them to a page on your Webflow site instead with a redirect URL. The embed shows its success message in place.

Can visitors upload files?

Yes, on Nisuform Pro, with the embed. Each submission can include up to 5 JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF or PDF files, stored privately and shared through links that expire.

Can Webflow form submissions go to Slack, Google Sheets or a webhook?

Yes, on Nisuform Pro. Each submission can go to Slack, Discord, Telegram or Google Sheets, or to any URL as a signed webhook, and to other tools through Zapier, Make or n8n.

Does the form stop spam?

Yes. Every submission is checked with a honeypot, a fill-time check, rate limits, and link and duplicate checks. Spam goes to its own folder and doesn't count toward your limit. If spam still gets through, you can turn on Cloudflare Turnstile on any plan.
